Mr. Pilimon is an engineer who works with some road construction company. Recently he retired from his engineering work and he started his general merchandise business. Unfortunately Mr. pilimon never hadany opportunity to attend a business class. Here are the details of his transaction:-

He deals in the product category of beers, sodas, water, local wines and juice.

On the 01/Jan/2024, he bought the following goods for the start of his business

Beer 50 cases @60,000/= , Pet sodas 40 cases @ 18,000/=, water 100 cases @ 9,500/=, wines 60 cases @ 22,000/= and juice 30 cases @ 10,500/=. He sales beers @ 63,000/=, sodas @ 20,000/=, water @11,000/=, wines @ 24,000 and juice @ 11,500/=

On the 15/Jan/2024, he added the following goods at the same purchase prices.

Beers 30 cases, pet soda 25 cases and wines 40 cases.

On the 31/Jan/2024 he closed the month with the following goods:-

Beers 25, sodas 15, water 50, wines 10, and juice 18 cases respectively. Beer empties in were 40 cases.

Mr. Pilimon learns that you are one of the business consultants who live nearer to him. He decides to approach you to help him construct a template for his stock book.

Questions

  1. Suggest for him a business name
  2. Present to him a stock book template with the following particulars:- brand, pack size, standard stock, opening stock, stock received, reference, total stock, closing stock, sales, selling rate, sales amount, cost price, purchase amount, stock values.
  3. Determine empties empty crates in and out.
  4. Compute total stock, sales/cumulative sales, sales amount, purchase amount, stock values and determine standard stock
  5. Advise him where necessary
